Once the Android SDK has finished installing the SDK application manager automatically opens a list of software you can download. Go ahead and install all the packages precheck, but make sure that the USB driver package Google (which appears in Extras) is activated.
You need this file to allow your PC to communicate with the Kindle fire. Expect Manager SDK to download and install all the packages, and do not worry if you ask permission to kill a server or process. Just click OK until all is done with the installation process.

Step 6: Now that you have the SDK installed, you must make two quick changes before fire can ruin Kindle. Start by opening your user account in the Windows folder (C: \ Users \ (your username), find the new folder and find a file called adb_usb.ini open it in Notepad, add a new line of "Android" ..

The Kindle Touch $ 100 ($ 139 without the ads) is that the middle option. While the touch screen can feel like a "new and fresh" twist on the e-reader type, in fact, the device is still on original riffs Amazon Kindle, with some modifications to shake the epiphany. It is still read books.
So what is new, and how does it work?
Well, that's what the review is for.

Unlike some products (Droid line, for example), the Kindle seems more conservative design wise of every generation refreshes. I had a couple of near misses with his guide, because they simply did not see the car at an intersection. If I touch it launched the Kindle, he may not be able to capture. The device is coated with the quality of gray ("gunmetal") plastic, the rear two-tone composition similar to the Nexus, and is easily overlooked.
The front of the device has a button on the screen and home alone. The button is a series of ridges, apparently intended to represent the list of books that go. The screen is relatively deeply recessed, with the touch of OCR (the technology itself, and even the medallion, is present in the simple touchscreen Corner), and the bezel surrounding the gray is wide enough to be comfortable, underlined by an inch when the standard playing position.
The last screen of the Kindle was almost exactly flush with the surrounding plastic, but the credit of the Kindle Touch, there is no such thing as too thin, and I find the touch rugged little more comfortable to hold for long periods of time.
The single button on the device button lock / unlock / energy in the bottom, which is located next to the headphone jack and USB port. While pushing a button to unlock the device seems quite reasonable, slide to unlock the Nook is much more intuitive to me. If I put the Kindle for a few minutes and the Windows screen, it seems strange to have to get to the bottom of the device to interact with my new book - a combination of home and the key touch screen should be sufficient.
Regarding the issue of battery life: there is no question of battery life. It's not something I worry about e-readers, even with 3G review unit I have. Amazon expected a few months, with ads driven in direct and regular use of 3G could be closer to a week or two, but still not to worry.
Overall, Amazon is correct, the device does not disappear in your hands. I just hope when I'm paying attention, it was a bit 'lighter.
